The largest race Kai has participated in (54 drivers), finished 16th overall and earned a trophy for highest placed novice.
Wet and windy conditions were a tough test for Kai. Starting from the back in both heats he made up 19 places, qualified 6th for the final and finished 4th after a great battle.
A fantastic opportunity for Kai to race at another famous UK karting circuit with some of the best drivers in the country.
The final result didn’t reflect how well Kai did learning a new track in such a short amount of time, or how well he’d driven against tough competition.
It was Kai’s first race in the UK, first race with Fusion Motorsport and first time at the PF International track so sixth out of thirty in the club race was a positive result.
