The wrong tyre choice put him 20th on the grid after qualifying but good pace and overtaking saw a respectable 13th place finish.

Great pace all weekend but problems with starts meant that Kai had to work hard for his eventual 17th place.
WMKC Club Championship 2016 Round 2
One of the largest club meetings of the year and Kai finished 12th out of 54 drivers, a very good result.
CKRC Club Championship 2016 Round 1
Kai’s first race at the popular Rowrah Kart Track was in very cold conditions but he did well to finish seventh and be within a few tenths of the fastest lap.
TVKC Winter Series Round 3
Qualified 7th in his group putting him 15th on the grid for the final Kai made up 4 places to finish 11th and first placed rookie.
TVKC Winter Series Round 2
Qualified 9th overall, down to 45th after a penalty in the pre-final and a strong fight-back saw Kai make up no less than 28 places to finish 17th.
WMKC Club Championship 2016 Round 1
Kai’s first ever race at Whilton Mill didn’t go according to plan, two crashes in the heats left him at the back for the final, and it didn’t get any better from there.
SKRC Club Championship 2016 Round 1
An event shortened by snowy weather Kai finished 1st and 3rd in the two heat races to take the win overall, his first in a UK club championship race.

A solid drive against tough competition, up to third in the final but finished sixth, second fastest lap of the race.
